For more contact: boomfem@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +905488488648 LIFE MANAGEMENT As I was preparing for this, I realized the best way to discuss life management is to first understand what life is. In case you don’t believe in God and you are reading this, some of the things discussed are intriguing enough to make you give life a deeper thought. Some say life is what we make out of it while some argue that life is what is presented before you by a superior power, but permit me to take you through the scriptures and define life. John 1:4 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” The bible says in Jesus was life and that life is the light of men. Without wasting much of your time, let me inform you that real life is embedded in Christ Jesus. We are here on earth to decide our part in eternal life. This may seem spiritual but when you come to the realization that the life we are living now is but a shadow of the life to come, you will agree that the life to come is far more important than the one we live in now. Jesus is the only way to eternal life (John 3:16) and that’s why He will forever be the definition of life. Based on this brief introduction, let me give you nine steps to manage this life properly. 1. Accepting the life of Christ (Luke 12:16-31): I initially wrote giving your life to Christ then I realized; we actually don’t have a life without Him. Knowing and acknowledging Jesus as the source of life and life giver will mean nothing if you refuse to accept His life. I made this the first point because you must have a life before you can manage it. In the text above, the ground yielded plenty for the rich man but he refused to acknowledge the giver of life and his life was taken from him that same night. All those things we all run after becomes useless when the life owner decides to take it from us and then we are faced with an eternal journey. Let me end this point with a quote from one of the series I watched a while ago. “Live as if there is a God, when you die and there is one, you will inherit eternal life and if there is none, you have nothing to lose”.
a device is the and reading the manufacturers’ manual will give you a lot of information. However, hearing from the manufacturer directly will give you all the information needed. As hearing God is becoming an old-fashioned thing, I will like to inform you that if you plan to have a successful life before man and God, then you must hear him always. It’s not just hearing him but you must also listen to Him. Listening involves you hearing and paying attention to His words. Also, it’s not enough to hear and listen, you must obey what He tells you. Note that this is not a one-time thing but a continuous process that you need to make a life habit. In case you want to know more about the subject of hearing God, kindly get books, videos and audios online that deal with this subject or talk to the sender of this material to you.
3. Discover your purpose: For every man created, there is a purpose for their existence. This applies to those created by God and the kingdom of darkness. Do you know that every angel has an For more contact: boomfem@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +905488488648 assignment? So also, we humans have a void on earth we are meant to fill. You are not here to make up the numbers and you are not here as a result of a sexual relationship. You are here on an assignment and for a particular reason, till you know this and understand this, you are not yet managing your life. All you are doing is living a life given to you by Christ. There are thousands of books and other materials on the subject of purpose but beyond that, hearing, listening and obeying God is the best route to discovering your purpose in life. Note that if you are living a Christian life till date and haven’t discovered your purpose, this is not the time to give up, keep asking God. When He finally speaks to you about your purpose on earth, you will understand that all you have been through are preparing you for the fulfillment of your purpose in life.
purpose for their lives prematurely. It’s easy to know God’s purpose for your life but it takes discipline to sit down at His feet to get a step by step blueprint of how to achieve that purpose in life. If you know your destination and you don’t have a map or guide to lead you there, you will waste time looking for your way. If you are not careful, you may end up not getting to your final destination. We humans are like cars that are set to journey to different destinations. We have limited fuel and we must use this judiciously in order to get to that final destination. If you are reading this, take time and ask yourself, do I have a blueprint for my life? Am I doing what I am meant to be doing at this moment in life? Knowing each step to take at every point in time will save you from frustration and depression in life.
5. Live according to that blueprint: If you read step four, you will agree with me that it’s of no use going through the stress of having a blueprint without living according to it. I have to put this point to remind you that even when other options seem more glittering and glorious, the best option to always follow is the one in the blueprint you got from God. This is applicable to every area of your life and ministry.
living according to what God is saying but one of the greatest influencers of destiny is relationship. The downfall of man can be attributed to the momentary relationship of the woman and the serpent in the garden of Eden. Associating with the right people at the right time will always speed up your journey in life. Relationships (both marital and beyond) are great and beautiful, in fact, you need them to get to your final destination in life. Nevertheless, being in the right relationship at the right time is very important in your journey in life. Let me take a moment to take this in the marital direction. Knowing who you are meant to marry is equally as important as knowing when to start the relationship. I have seen some marriage bound relationships scatter because they started too early. Also, people have missed life opportunities because they decided to enter a relationship at the wrong time. Before you get into any relationship (either marital or not), be sure it’s the right time.

Marry God’s will for your life: Since the last point was already taking us in this direction, it’s better to hit the nail on the head. One of the most amazing revelations I have gotten from the scriptures is in Gen 2:18-25. The lord said it’s not good for a man to be alone in vs 18 and then brought birds/beasts to Adam to name in the next verse. I would have concluded that this was a coincidence but the last sentence in vs 20 says “But for Adam there was not found a helper compatible to him. It means Adam could have named any other thing apart from the woman a life partner but since he was in the perfect will of God and had the mind of God, he couldn’t. One of the lessons to learn from the passage is that not everyone that comes your way in life is your life partner. Some are on your part so you can help them fulfill God’s assignment over their life. Wrong marriages have wrecked many ministries and destinies, it has cut short bright futures and visions. If you are reading this and you are single, permit me to inform you that choosing a life partner is one of the greatest decisions you will make on earth.
as having a successful life (both career and spiritual). However, as I take time to review and write this, I realized that if you have followed all the steps mentioned above, you will indeed be enjoying a successful spiritual day to day life. I also remember someone asked a question during the session that “should our career and spiritual life be differentiated as believers”? The answer is NO; but I feel it’s paramount to remind believers to thrive in their chosen careers. It’s important to let the world know Jesus through your success in things that seem to not be spiritual (your day to day endeavor). Being successful in your career gives you an edge in all ramifications and it helps the world see the Jesus in you. Let me conclude this section like this, failure is also part of life management. Knowing your identity in Christ and understanding that your God is not a failure will definitely bring you back on track even if you fail. Being successful is not a one-time thing and failing once doesn’t mean you can never succeed again.
end of your life here on earth, your kids will be one of the things that shown how well you have managed your life. With the advancement in technology daily, it’s very important you teach your kids the way of the Lord and try your best to make them follow God. I am not yet a parent, but I realized from my parents that when they have done everything in life, we children are the joy/fulfillment in their lives.
Let me conclude this write-up with the words of the wisest king that ever lived (excluding Jesus) in Ecc 12:13. “All has been heard; the end of the matter is: fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing the He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, For more contact: boomfem@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +905488488648 the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man”. (AMP) “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”. (KJV) Life is spiritual and everything happens in the spiritual realm before manifesting in the physical. Life management is the first thing to strive for before managing the time within that life. Our ultimate goal is to fulfill God’s plan and purpose for our creation and this is the summary of a well-managed life. God bless you. Olusola Bamisile (B.B.)
