ACT or SAT Scores 
 
Denison practices a test-optional admission policy, and ACT/SAT results are not required in 
order to qualify for admission. If this item is showing as "Awaiting" on your application 
checklist, it is because you indicated that you wanted Denison to consider your test results on 
your application, and we do not have results on file for you.
In addition to official scores, we accept self-reported ACT and SAT scores. To self-report your 
scores, you can complete the “Self-Reported Test Scores” form in your Denison applicant 
portal. We will superscore your test scores, but when self-reporting test scores we require that 
you submit scores from all instances of tests taken, including all individual sub-scores and test 
dates. This allows us to review all tests and focus on the best scores. If you are admitted and 
choose to enroll at Denison, we will ask you to verify unofficial, self-reported scores by 
providing official results. Official scores can be sent directly from a testing agency or school 
official via email to
