My university

I will tell you about my university life now. I go to the university every day. My university life is very busy but I enjoy it very much. There are a lot of happy and hard things in my university life. But I like the university very much because there are a lot of reasons.

My parents (had) always told me that it is extremely important to receive a bachelor’s degree not only because of acquisition of new knowledge but also because of the different experiences that people receive in four years at the university.

The Tashkent State Pedagogical University was founded on September 14, 1935, as a pedagogical institute on the basis of pedagogical faculty of the Central Asian State University. During 1953-1998 years it was called the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute. On February 24, 1998, the Institute was granted thestatus of a university by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 1947, the university has been named after the great Azerbaijanipoet and educator Nizami.

Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami is one of the largest scientific and educational centers of the country and has a rich history and positive tradition. Highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff of the University provide high-quality education for students. Students and teachers of educational institutions, laboratories, information resources center, electronic library, information technology center, printing house, sports complex, museum, centers for advanced training and retraining, educational and recreational camp, student hostels and canteens, teachers at their disposal.
