following the Sampson Flat bushfire in the Adelaide Hills.

Fire Affected Zone: Closed Indefinitely

The fire began on 2 

January 2015, 

burning an 

extensive area of 

ForestrySA 

plantation and 

native forest, leaving 

many trees unstable 

and presenting a 

potential risk to 

public safety. 

For safety reasons, 

visitors should keep 

clear of all areas

while ForestrySA 

works to ascertain 

the exact extent of 

the damage.

All remaining areas 

will be reopened as 

soon as safety 

permits.

more  information 

regarding specific 

areas affected.
