Our attitude towards the environment is changed. A few years ago, people didn’t care about pollution, erosion, animals, extinction, etc. However, nowadays people again and again talk about this and try to make a difference. Protection of the environment depends on industry. Industry is the main branch which pollutes the environment. Environment is polluted by industry in two ways, through the reclamation of natural resources and manufacture. The invention of automobile is undoubtedly one of the humankind’s greatest inventions. However, the automobile brought us many disadvantages. The air nowadays is polluted by millions of cars every day. Their positive solutions are creating useful manufacture technologies which preserve the environment and not to place industrial enterprises in cities where overpopulation live. As well as, atmosphere is polluted by industrial branches such as metallurgy, chemistry, energetic, means of transport and others. Every year, world industry pollutes the atmosphere with about 1000 million tons of dust and other harmful substances. Many cities suffer from smog. Vast forests are cut and in fire. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance. As a result, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plans disappear forever, a number rivers and lakes dry up. Environmental protection is of a universal concern. As many as 159 countries- members of the UNO have set up environmental protection agencies. Numerous conferences have been held by these agencies to discuss problems facing ecologically poor regions including the Aral Sea, the South Urals, Kuzbass, Donbass, Semipalatinsk and Chernabyl. Another reason of the environment is the problem of water. Unfortunately, we spend fresh water sometimes very carelessly. For instance, the Aral Sea is drying because of our indifference in using the sea water. The Sea has dropped by 16 meters and the water has become too salty. The climate has been affected and changed this land into desert. The law quality of water has caused many diseases. The UNO has an organization to protect the environment and ecology. Its name is UNEP. It is trying to improve the area and water of the Aral Sea. Besides that, for this purpose, an environmental action called ECOSAN has been created. It stands for protecting the environment and ecology in Uzbekistan and Asia. In conclusion, leading of the ecological policy is one of the most major duties. But these are only initial steps and they must be carried onward to protect nature, to save life on the planets not only for the sake of the present but also for the future generations!
