Self-motivation, commitment and team leading abilities always distinguish me as an inspiring leader in my community. By empowering youth in projects and encouraging people through motivation, I have been constantly enhancing my leadership abilities in youth-led activities. Over the last 5 years, I have launched more than 15 youth projects, where I served as General Manager and President while inspiring 25,000 youth of the world and improving their leadership abilities as the team.
Being the organizer of youth projects, I developed my managerial abilities during project crisis situations. In 2018, I become the President of “International Union X Conference”, the biggest youth event with 1200 participants around the world. Prior to 40 days of the conference, one of the leading sponsor rejected to finance our grandiose event. Having limited budget and fund, government officials suggested us to postpone the conference. However, relying on my crisis managerial skills and in-depth background on negotiations, I allocated perspective sponsors list for each organizer and demonstrated special presentation on convincing methods and creating win-win situation for both parties. Within 15 days, my outstanding managers were able to invite 7 leading companies as the sponsor of the event. Having sufficient funds by organizations, we successfully conducted the biggest event in professional atmosphere.
While working as the Deputy Chairman of Republican Youth Council, I was in charge of monitoring employment productiveness of each staff member. Due to the internal amendments, our organization were obliged to move to the different location. After moving to a new office, I noticed a lack of motivation and teamwork in daily actions of employees. In order to sustain employment productiveness, I launched life coaching class within the organization, where, I presented various tactics and personal empowerment methods for improving time management and self-motivation skills. These coaching lessons become the foundation for my employees to resolve any conflicting situation with critical thinking and self-assertive abilities along with implementing any given tasks as the team in departments.
After graduating my university, I continued my career perspectives as Marketing manager in “Euroasia Insurance” Co Ltd. Once, due to the delay of insurance payment to client, our company was negatively presented in social media platforms. It resulted in the decrease of insurance sales, and our company lost its 4^th position in local market. The General Director requested me to resolve the situation by implementing new marketing system. As the manager, I was able to recruit 5 assistant managers in different positions to the company. As the team, we were able to model European marketing strategies of insurance promotion and applied innovative tactics to local market. After the continuous strategies, insurance sales volume increased by 350% and our company reached 3^rd position in market.
Chevening scholarship will grant me the possibility to meet with global leaders. With the intention of developing my leadership abilities within the UK, I plan to organize “iLeader” Global Forum which will gather 500 inspiring leaders of the world, who come together to resolve global challenges in round-table discussions and panel debates.

Building long-lasting relations, connecting with new people and daily communications, in my viewpoint, are fundamental concepts of Networking. Having 5600 friends on Facebook, 8750 connections in Linkedin and more than 10,000 followers in various social media platforms, I have been constantly focusing on my networking abilities by building connections and enhancing my intercommunication skills as my daily habit.

My networking experience rely primarily on my assistance services which I provide to my connections and personal motivational statements that I daily post in social media platforms. As the founder of “Chevening Community Uzbekistan” group in Telegram and Instagram, I have seen the effectiveness of building connections with future Chevening scholars through providing professional advice to applicants along with meeting with them in groups for special purposes.
In 2017, out of 2000 applicants, I have chosen as the Global Ambassador of Uzbekistan to “Youthop” platform, web portal which gathers sixty million youth of the world as the search engine for youth opportunities. My communication skills, having the significant number of connections in social media played the primary role for being chosen as the Ambassador. Within a month of my internship, I have gathered 3000 leading youth of Uzbekistan to unique portal “Youthop:Uzbekistan” in Facebook. During a year, I managed to conduct five workshops for 1200 youth which served as the advisory panel discussions to learn the methods of increasing acceptance rate to opportunities, develop leadership skills through communication and resolve issues in team building activities. In particular, within my Ambassadorship term, 45 applicants were granted with full scholarship to study in Europe and more than 120 students received full scholarship to participate in global conferences.
My personal interest in Model United Nations conference activities always encourage me to ascertain new friends around the world. As the head of Uzbekistan delegation, I participated in Youth Assembly at the United Nations headquarters with 25 Uzbek delegates. The conference gathered more than 2500 participants from 184 countries. As the head, I was able to demonstrate 10-minute presentation in General Assembly hall on the topic of youth empowerment importance through government policies. My speech inspired the whole audition and highly mentioned by the President of Costa Rica, who was the speaker at the conference. During the conference, I proposed to conference participants to launch special blog to share our life stories and ideas we are spearing in our home country. My proposal was supported by many young leaders, and after a year, we have successfully created the global youth blog with 2000 membership in current period.
Within my career in Youth Union, during panel discussion in Parliament of Uzbekistan in 2018, I was delighted to personally meet with UN Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth, Jayathma Wickramanayake. The meeting allowed me to propose various youth projects, discuss potential job opportunities in the UN headquarters and continue my ongoing projects with the full support of the UN. Making this opportunity to be lifetime, I have built a personal connect with Mr. Wickramanayake through Twitter and official email.
Having witnessed recent evolutionary reforms in Uzbekistan, the country requires the presence of internationally recognized experts in investment and finance to support the ongoing economic policy of the country. After completing my undergraduate degree in Economics with Finance, I have planned to continue my education in investment and finance sphere to become an expert in investment analysis and portfolio management. Thus, Chevening scholarship will serve as the foundation to receive professional knowledge in Finance and Investment for my career perspectives.
I aim to pursue my master’s degree in Finance and Investment course with the intention of understanding techniques of financial decision modeling, evaluating investment performance of corporate sector along with enhancing my career potential via applied practical methodologies. Pursuing my postgraduate study in the United Kingdom provides me with a professional research experience, internship opportunity in finance sector and vibrant culture involvement.
I choose to study MSc Finance and Investment at Brunel University London as of my first choice. The course primarily focuses on security investment decision making, financial markets modeling and risk management evaluation. The university program syllabus is perfectly aligned with my future career of international investment analyst due to the provision of portfolio investment strategies and application of professional finance databases such as DataStream and Bank Scope. The university also offers training sessions by Bloomberg experts and industry talks with the linkage of finance to business spheres. Having 2,500 international students, the university is exceptional for its diverse, vibrant and multi-cultural students’ community.
My second choice for MSc Finance and Investment is the University of Bradford. The modules in this course provides in-depth knowledge in international finance, investment analysis and financial accounting. The university offers Bradford Trading room facilities which presents cutting edge methods for live economic data and financial market analysis within university. In addition, I intend to receive Certified project manager certificate, which is also offered by university course syllabus as the optional module, making Bradford one of the outstanding institution. Besides that, as the part of my research, I will work alongside with my peers to complete a dissertation. The university can provide individual recommendation to different industry partners, which facilitates the process of research and evaluation for students. Lastly, on-campus student village “The Green” provides modern accommodation facilities with award-winning secure placement.
As the third choice, I would like to study my MSc Finance and Investment at the University of South Wales. The course establishes a firm foundation in financial market analysis and investment making decisions. The internationally recognized university is one of the leading institutions in Wales by focusing in the excellence of research experience, where I will be able to accomplish my dissertation at Level 7. The university also provides powerful financial databases and software applications such Finance Lab, where students simulate financial market through practical methodologies. I specifically focused on the university syllabus which includes contemporary finance courses like Islamic and Environmental Finance that play a strategic role for my career perspective as the international investment analyst within Central Asian.
The government of Uzbekistan has been actively initiating bilateral cooperation with developed countries to support the wellbeing and prosperity of the nation. In this regard, Uzbekistan-UK trade and economic relations are dynamically developing and expanding bilateral collaborations are becoming priority for both parties. In particular, on 18^th of April, 2018, the UK has decided to invest 1.25 billion pounds into the oil and gas sectors of Uzbekistan. Likewise, the UK-Uzbek Trading Council is actively conducting annual conferences to support bilateral ties and investment opportunities of both countries.
To support evolutionary reforms of Uzbekistan, I intend to contribute to the investment climate of Uzbekistan by becoming the international investment expert through professional knowledge obtained by Chevening Scholarship. The Chevening scholarship will be the essence of my career success as it enlarges my social status as international expert and allow me to promote Uzbekistan economic condition to the leading investors of Chevening Network.
Upon the return to Uzbekistan, my immediate goal is to become the head of investment department in UK-Uzbek Trading Council and annually organize “UK-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Week”. As the head of investment in Council, I will have the access to conduct various events with representatives of the UK and support investment projects. The implementation of entrepreneurship week will promote UK small and medium entrepreneurs to invest into Uzbek start-up companies which expands the creation of more joint projects and increase the doing business level of Uzbekistan. Having obtained influential entrepreneurs contact within the UK, I will have the opportunity to invite all investors, business angels to this grandiose event. As the result of the week, Uzbek small and medium business sector will be expanded significantly by the UK investment projects funding.
Within three years, I plan to establish “Euroasia Capital” investment company to support foreign trade and investment opportunities between European and Asian countries. The investment company will also serve as a consulting organization by proposing perspective investment projects to the UK investors. In addition, primary mission of the company will be promoting trade agreements between Eurozone and Central Asian countries along with offering international legal assistance services to adopt to Uzbek trade policies. Besides of investment activities, the company will also be oriented in teaching of investment fundamentals to youth of Uzbekistan which will result in the expansion of intelligent youth with investment background.
My long-term goal, after achieving aforementioned targets, is to serve as the Deputy Minister in Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan. As the Deputy Minister, I will be in charge of promoting and coordinating bilateral agreements between the UK and Eurozone countries through applying transparent legislation and free economic activities. Furthermore, I plan to establish free economic zone in Samarkand region of Uzbekistan which serves the primary location for the UK investment projects and funds. The free economic zone will be initiated under the partnership with UK Department of International Trade and Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan. These contributions will play a significant role for improving investment climate of Uzbekistan.
