Annotation: Biology is a science that studies living organisms. The “powers” of this science include studies not only of certain objects, but also of the features of their interaction, development processes, physiology, evolution and settlement on Earth. The term biology is translated - the science of life.

Key words: science, biology, botany, mycology, anatomy, zoology, skeleton, flowers, organism, microorganisms

Biology is a global, systemic science that contains knowledge about the entire biosphere of the Earth. Therefore, it is difficult to assess which sciences are included in biology. Many have long been considered independent, while others were formed at the junction with other disciplines. There are three main disciplines: zoology, botany and microbiology. Botany is a section that studies plants, their structure and evolution. A subsection of botany, mycology, is studying a separate kingdom - mushrooms. Those interested in the animal kingdom should know what zoology is. This science includes not only representatives of the animal kingdom. There are related disciplines for human research, such as anatomy. What is anatomy? This is a science that studies the structure and shape of the human body. It is impossible not to say about medicine, veterinary medicine and agriculture, which are completely based on the knowledge obtained by physiologists and zoologists. Many are interested in what microbiology is - it studies microorganisms that you cannot see with the naked eye, and works closely with modern medicine. Of related disciplines, natural science is distinguished. This subject, which provides comprehensive knowledge of the biosphere, is studied even in the lower grades.

The importance of biology can be understood by how actively it is studied in school. For several years, students have time to go through anatomy, botany and zoology, studying the development of organisms, functioning, structure. Studying at school gives an impetus to further research. The greatest attention is now paid to medicine and bioengineering. It is impossible not to say about the connection of biology with physics and astronomy. Increasingly, the question arises of finding life on other planets, the functioning of living beings in zero gravity (in order to equip space tourism). Such studies look attractive for young people who enter the relevant specialties. However, you must first pass an exam - here a biology tutor comes to the rescue, who will help to realize the dream.

The first step towards understanding how to teach biology will be the selection of visual material for the lesson. Science is far from abstraction, and everything in question can be easily seen. The skeleton, flowers, and even photos of microorganisms - all this is in textbooks and on the Internet and greatly simplifies the task, since understanding biology, and not just memorizing, is really important. In addition to the active use of illustrations and atlases, one should not forget about the standard methods of effective learning: Transfer formulas and terms to memory cards and regularly repeat them. Rewrite the text of the paragraph as a vivid abstract. To learn something, you need to teach someone this. You can tell new information to a friend, relatives, cat or toys.

Difficulties in studying may arise if knowledge from the previous sections has been missed. Also, problems can cause terminology, the meaning of which is not remembered. In this case, it will be useful for you to use the service of a tutor in biology. A competent teacher will help you better understand the curriculum, as well as tell interesting facts about biology beyond the required material.

The history of the development of biology is largely based on ridiculous accidents and discoveries. Here is an example of curious observations: The only marine inhabitants that can blink with two eyes at once are sharks. Sources disagree about this skill. Some say that the second and third eyelids constantly protect sharks, others - that it is still mobile. Everyone associates grass with something insignificant, but few people know that it can reach 30 meters in height. We are talking about bamboo, which belongs to the family of cereals and is a favorite treat of pandas. It is a well-known fact that the human body has evolved and acquired other features. These changes are caused by both the development of the species and the softening of living conditions. But evolution did not have enough time to remove the signs of long-standing organs completely. In their place now are rudiments. These are all familiar wisdom teeth, appendix and tailbone. Unexpectedly, there are more than 90 such unnecessary residues in the body.

In modern science, more and more attention is paid to genetics. This is necessary in order to grow donor organs, get new types of organisms and reproduce food. The interest in medicine with pharmacology does not fade away. These two areas are developing rapidly, receive huge cash injections. Part of the funds goes to anatomy, which gives answers to what human biology studies. Biology is an interesting and exciting science that is easy to learn even for a student. Moreover, this is the subject that will always remain socially useful.
