ANNOTATION


The purpose of the study: a comprehensive description of the language game as one of the means of expressing evaluation in the media discourse .


The object of the study is the language game in the media discourse as one of the means of expressing evaluation in the Russian language.
The subject of the study is the specificity of the implementation of the evaluative function of the language game, expressed by multi-level linguistic means in their interaction, and the multidimensionality of its manifestation in the language of the media.
The scientific novelty of the research is:
- in a comprehensive study of the language game as a linguistic device within the framework of the axiological approach;
- in determining the conditions for creating a language game in the discursive media environment;
- in identifying the evaluative function of the language game as a reflection of the influencing function of media texts, i.e. their pragmatic potential.
- in the analysis of the linguistic category of evaluation from the standpoint of its expression in the context of a language game by multi-level linguistic means and elements: from individual parts of speech at the level of linguistic units to syntactic structures at the level of utterance and sentence
The dissertation work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and a list of references. The Introduction substantiates the relevance of the study, defines its object and subject, purpose and objectives, scientific novelty and applied methods, and also reveals its structure and practical significance of its results. In the first chapter "Theoretical foundations of the problem under study" the concept of "language game" in modern science and its components are revealed and the features of the formation of the lexicographic competence of younger students are revealed. In the second chapter "Manifestation of the Phenomenon of a Language Game within the Framework of Different Language Levels and Means", the phenomenon of a language game is considered on the basis of different levels of language means and the means of creating a language game in the media discourse are characterized . In chapter three, " Meta-evaluation as a functional feature of the language game in the media discourse ", a linguo-pragmatic analysis of the language game in the media discourse is made and the cases of using the language game as the implementation of the ironic evaluation in the discourse are considered . In conclusion, conclusions and generalizations based on the results of the study are made. The list of used literature provides a list of research sources.
