The pie charts compare the proportion of online shopping sales for retail sectors in New Zealand in the years 2003 and 2013.


Overall, it is clear that despite, the percentage of film and music’s sales was the second smallest in all sectors in the first chart, however, it became the biggest during the decade. This importance of travel sales was the most popular, unfortunately, it lost the leadership.
In 2003, the percentage of online sales of books was the smallest which made up 19% but this importance had done a small change, as a result it increased by 3% in next decade. During 10 years, the proportion of film and music’s sales dramatically rose from 21 to 33% and it had being the most popular choise in New Zealand.
Turning to the percentage of online shopping sales of travel and clothes were 36 and 24% respectively, when the proportion of travel sales was the biggest with 36% in four factors. Until 2013, the former mainly decreased to 29% and the latter also dropped from 24 to 16%. In 2013, the sales of clothes was be the smallest online retail sector.
