To start with the first video which is based on the seminar lesson held in Stephan middle school was really fruitful and amazing. The seminar was about social media and students of 8th grade had a really good discussion. Before the discussion started they have organized a rounded place in which everyone could see each other directly. Then students were given instructions to write down some questions on the topic. Afterwards the teacher selected a pupil to commence the discussion. A girl has read her question and one by one everybody answered the question. When question is down another one was read. Students encouraged their peers to answer the question so as to all pupils attended. And teacher also inspired passive students. The discussion area was well occupied and atmosphere was hot there. Half students who didn't attend in discussion observed them. At the end they all summarised and tutor asked pupils write pluses and minus sides of the lesson. To make long story short i liked the lesson. So the next video presented by teen empowerment was about moving beyond icebreakers and the activity was called Concentric circles. I do love this activity. I used to use this activity when i was preparing for IELTS speaking exam. This exercise is really really beneficial for improving speaking skills and improve good relationship between students. In a circle rounded chairs pupils change their place and introducing themselves they talk about different topics. This is very funny and fruitful exercise in teaching English
