The environmental problems that today's world is facing are so great that there is little ordinary people can do to improve the situation. So governments and large organizations should be responsible for reducing the amount of damage being done to the environment.

There is no denying that our world is facing far too great environmental challenges, and it is everyone's responsibility to save our environment and make the planet liveable. We cannot assume that all the responsibilitie s fall on the shoulders of the government and large organisations and that they are bound to control the loss caused by us to Mother Nature. I totally disagree with the proposition that we, as individuals, are not capable of doing anything to save our world.

First of all, when we start protecting the environment by taking little initiatives and making little efforts, this can bring a huge change. Let us take a simple example of turning off the water tap when we brush our teeth. It is overwhelming how much water it can save. If everyone starts doing this, we will be able to save millions of gallons of water each year. There are thousands of examples like this, like turning off the lights when not in use, limiting the use of refrigerators and so on. This outlines how individual efforts can accumulate to a greater role when it comes to saving our environment.

Secondly, plastic is an enormous threat to our environment and we can limit the use of plastic through personal choice and awareness. Recycling plastic is also a good option. If we start using recycled paper bags from right now, we will notice significant improvements in the coming years. One more thing we can do is plant more and more tree
s in our home, garden or locality and encourage others to do so.

In the end, I would like to say that small changes will bring drastic changes. So giving up is not the solution and blaming others or making them responsible for the betterment of our future is not wise.

Our mother earth is facing enormous challenges that ordinary people are unable to fix alone. Governments and large corporations should play a major role in curbing these issues. I firmly believe that the involvement of the government and big organizations is the key to success in limiting negative impacts on the environment.

First of all, governments should lead the process of limiting environmental degradation and making it greener. This can essentially be achieved by introducing and imposing laws that would force people to embrace eco-friendly habits and refrain from bad ones that would damage our planet. This is important because not all people share the same level of awareness in regards to environmental issues, and no matter how noble their awareness is, they may still not feel obliged to follow good environmental routines. A simple example of this I can recall is when the law enforcement personnel in my country stopped penalising people for the use of plastic bags, mass people started using prohibited plastic bags which ultimately harm the ecosystem and disrupt the marine species.

Moreover, large organizations and social groups should play a significant role in combating environmental damages. Their primary role should be working on increasing people's level of awareness. Government's laws are not sufficient and will not work in all situations. So, awareness combined with tough legislation can achieve the best outcomes. If we go back to the plastic bag example, we would notice that awareness plays an important role in changing people's behaviour. For those who started using it, had they been convinced of its importance, they would not have done that.

In conclusion, to ensure positive contributions and to minimize risks to the planet, relying on people alone will not lead to the desired results. Governments' work complimented with large companies' effort can effectively help protect the environment.
The mass people have a limit in reducing the issues related to the environment. So governments should take necessary measures to eradicate the environmental damages to have a greener environment and a safer future. I do agree with the notion that the ordinary public has little to do to reverse the environmental degradation and the authorities need to take drastic measures to solve the problem related to the environment.

Our green planet has been severely impacted by industrialisati on and human activities. It is so vast an issue that an ordinary person can do almost nothing to change it like stopping the global temperature from rising which require global leaders' initiatives. For instance, a person can plant a tree or reduce her daily carbon footprint but can never decide to make all people in her city use electric cars instead of fossil-fuel driven automobiles. This is where the government and global leaders have to come forward and take steps. If they decide, no fossil-fuel driven cars can run on the roads. It makes clear how authority and large organisations have to decide and take steps to reverse the environmental issues.

The government should be the primary body to act against the destruction caused to the atmosphere. Unplanned growth of industrialisati on should be remodelled and waste management should be fully controlled by authorities. Renewal of the waste and recycling should be done by the government using induced methods. They should legislate new regulations and laws and make sure individual people follow them. For instance, it has been proven that many people abide by many laws for the fear of punishment rather than their natural obligations. Thus the authority should make sure mass people abide by rules and laws to save the environment.

To conclude, some people alone cannot make a drastic change when it comes to making the planet safer and stopping climate change. So in order to have a green ecosystem, the government and other large organizations should introduce new methods to ensure having a healthy world for survival.
The environmental problems that today's world is facing are so great that there is little ordinary people can do to improve the situation. So governments and large organizations should be responsible for reducing the amount of damage being done to the environment.

Nowadays, the world is facing many environmental hazards; some of which are too enormous to be solved by individual efforts. Some people claim that it is the responsibility of the national authorities and large organizations to decrease environmental-related disasters. However, it is my contention that everyone, including ordinary citizens to large corporations and the government, should take accountability to heal the world again.

First of all, everyone has the responsibility to reduce environmental deterioration because the Earth is shared by all. In some countries, local villagers and some businessmen cut the trees down for farming, for housing, and for selling the trees to earn money, leading to deforestation, drought and flood. Individually, people should be aware of the actions that would harm the Earth, while the local authority should impose restrictions on people's activities that may hurt the natural equilibrium.

Moreover, governmental bodies should play their roles to regulate the laws concerning environmental issues. Environmental problems have been caused by individuals, authorities and large companies, these are also accumulative effects from abuse of natural resources for long term and large skills. Some nation-wide logging, industrial or manufacturing cooperation have used to rule their authorization for their profits that may lead to detrimental consequences to the environmental health. Therefore, these organizations should take their commitments and the government should charge these companies if their actions cause any harm to the environment, by setting the environmental laws.

To conclude, present environmental problems have great impacts on all of us. If the responsibility of saving the planet is shared by all - from individuals to governments - we would be able to save the planet we live in.
