To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, developments in technology and using automation in different araes are leading to reduction in the need for manual labour and it is often argued that whether it is necessary to decrease working hours or not. I completely agree with this statement and it will be more beneficial.

The main benefit of modern technology is that productivity and efficiency are being improved significantly in many industries. This is because, machines now can perform almost all tasks, people do, with higher productivity of output in much less time. For example, when producing cars now most parts are being gathered by machines with only human control. As a result, companies are achieving to increase in total output and profit. Because of this, people are getting their car when they want with cheaper prices. There is no doubt that this has improved economical statement and that is why it would be better to reduce working hours .

Secondly, reducing working hours can lead to more leisure time for workers. In other words, machines can work 2-3 times faster than people and it presents more time for personal pursuits. For instance, they spent much time with their family or engage in leisure activities instead of working at stressful hours. It also means that after less working hours workers can get life-balance and even would gain higher productivity in their job. Thus, technologies can be one of the reasons for job satisfaction.

To conclude, I believe that reduction of working hours can be more advantegous for both workers and industries.
