How to Get There By Air Edinburgh Airport is approximately eight miles west of Edinburgh city centre. Edinburgh airport is served by both national and international destinations. Flights are available to domestic destinations throughout the UK and international destinations including those in America, Canada, Egypt and Europe. Information on destinations and airlines are available on Edinburgh airport's website. There are a range of options to travel between Edinburgh airport and Edinburgh University, the easiest way to do so is certainly taking the bus.
