Aims of the lesson:

   Upbringing aim: to improve pupils’ personal qualities like behavior, manner, and their outlook, to enhance pupils’ love to reading ;

   Educational aim: to enlarge pupils’ knowledge, to revise lessons in this unit;
   
3. 
   Developmental aim: to develop pupils’ self-educational and communicative skills, to sharpen their reading and listening skills.
   

Objective: By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to talk about poets, their works and books, to make a poster.
Linguistic competence: to improve their comprehension about reading numbers.
Socio – linguistic competence: to raise pupils’ awareness about some great poets of the world.
Pragmatic competence: to enable pupils to find and use learnt materials in different situations.
Type of the lesson: combined
Materials: Teens` English, pictures, blackboard, chalk, computer, posters, markers, handouts, crosswords.
Procedure of the lesson:

   Organizational part: greeting and checking pupils’ existence, working with pupils on duty.
