For hoteliers, hotel management is not one concept but many tied together under one umbrella. It's hard to really say you've mastered hotel management when it comes with such a range of roles and responsibilities. Being able to adapt, meet challenges, and place yourself on a scale of personal growth is vital for a hotel manager. There are always new strategies, traveler preferences, or emerging industry technologies that you have to keep track of. Even new roles within hotels and the hotel industry are being created that will affect the way one manages their property so it pays to have your finger on the pulse.
