1. A database is information that is set up for easy access, management and updating.
2. The five major components of a database are hardware, software, data, procedure, and database access language.

LESSON 17.
Answer the questions :
What is Data processing?
Data processing is the collection and manipulation of digital data to produce meaningful information. Data processing is a form of information processing, which is the modification (processing) of information in any manner detectable by an observer.
What data processing steps have you learnt? Describe each step
Data processing is the method of collecting raw data and translating it into usable information. It is usually performed in a step-by-step process by a team of data scientists and data engineers in an organization. The raw data is collected, filtered, sorted, processed, analyzed, stored, and then presented in a readable format. Data processing is essential for organizations to create better business strategies and increase their competitive edge.
What software and hardware do you use in data processing?
Nowadays, almost everyone is using word or various data processing applications on their phone to process data.
What types of output is obtained in the result of data processing?
The output or “processed” data can be obtained in various forms. Example of these forms include image, graph, table, vector file, audio, charts or any other desired format. The form obtained depends on the software or method of data processing used. When done itself it is referred to as automatic data processingData processing is basically synchronizing all the data entered into the software in order to filter out the most useful information out of it.
LESSON 18.
Write about data storage, internal and external storage devices and back up.
With data storage space, users can save data onto a device. And should the computer power down, the data is retained. And instead of manually entering data into a computer, users can instruct the computer to pull data from storage devices. ...
The internal storage should only be used for application data, (preferences files and settings, sound or image media for the app to work).
The external storage is more like a public storage, so for now, it's the sdcard, but could become any other type of storage (remote hard drive, or anything else).
In information technology, a backup, or data backup is a copy of computer data taken and stored elsewhere so that it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event.
