Induction relays

In the induction principle, mainly two types of relays are made, rotating disk and rotating cylindrical rotor. Dreaming of induction relays of the first type

while the maximum current relay whose time depends on , the second type of induction the current relays include directional power relay and resistance relay.
Induction relay basically consists of non-moving magnetic conductors with coils and a moving part in the form of a disk or cylinder made of conductive material and mechanically connected contacts. When an alternating current passes through the pipes, alternating magnetic currents are formed in the magnetic conductors, and under their influence, currents are induced in the moving disk or cylinder. As a result of the interaction of induced currents and magnetic fluxes, a torque is generated, and the disk can rotate or the cylinder can turn to a certain angle.

An induction relay can only operate on alternating current.

In order to generate a rotating moment, it is necessary to have at least two magnetic currents that differ in phase from each other in the induction relay.

In the RT-80 or RT-90 induction relays with a rotating disk, one of the magnetic currents is generated by the current passing through the coil, and the other is generated by a short-circuited coil placed on a part of the magnetic conductor. .

RBM-type directional power relays with a movable cylindrical armature have separate current and separate voltage-connecting coils, with the help of which two magnetic currents with different phases are generated.
