8. Wild animals
Wild animals have no place in the 21^st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources.


To what extent do you agree or disagree?


Some people think that in the 21^st century there is not place for wild animals, that is why we should use resources that is used for protecting them for other useful things. I argue that wild animals are really important for our environment, so I completely disagree with this point of view.
As far as I am concerned, thinking wild animals are not necessary for human is completely wrong. It is wrong to say that the world is only belong to humans, this world is also belong to animals, they have a right to live in this world. Maybe, they do not provide us with food but they ensure biodiversity in the world, they make the world more interesting, thus they have special place in this world.
I also believe that money, time and other things that is utilized for protecting them is being used in the right way. If we allow wild animals to die out, food chain is absolutely demolished. In other words, if one animal ,for example, tiger become extinct, the number of herbivores will increase. This means more green land become necessary. So all things in nature connect with each other. That is why we should try more and more to protect wild animals.
To sum up, we cannot speak anything about the place of wild animals in the world and I believe that we should do everythig for protecting them.
