Lesson theme: Leisure. (Past Simple)
Lesson goal: To introduce new vocabulary, to introduce Past Simple, explain the rule and how to use it in describing the past events, to introduce the affirmative, interrogative and negative form of the past simple and, to practice the usage of -ed form in positive sentences.
Lesson Objectives: Students will be able to use new vocabulary in past simple tenses, also they can differentiate affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences in the past simple using tables and cards
Level of Students: Elementary level
*Anticipated Problems/ Possible Solutions: students might confuse present simple with past simple – solution, there will be given video and explanation.
Time/ Duration of the lesson: 40 minutes
Mode of interaction: Group work, pair and individual work.
Materials/Aids: board, projector, video, handouts, pictures, tables
