G. ACTIVITIES ON DIVERSITY AND CLIMATE
Dr. Gkritza currently advises two female graduate students and one female undergraduate student from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She also participates at the Women in Engineering’s mentor-mentee program that provides support for future female leaders in engineering. Her current mentee is a PhD Candidate in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She has also recruited and advised seven female graduate students and six female undergraduate students; was a Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) mentor for one female PhD student; and was involved in enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) informal education to develop transportation professionals and a regional transportation workforce development summit.
