Description
Fastest Scan
Period
Define the fastest possible scan period (in seconds) that dynamic
scanning will scan point parameters on this controller. The default
is
15
seconds.
The dynamic scanning period does not affect the static scanning
rate for a parameter. For example, if the scanning rate for a
parameter is 10 seconds, and the dynamic scanning rate for the
controller is 15 seconds, the parameter will still be scanned at a
period of 10 seconds.
Station ID
ID of the controller, specified when the controller was configured.
Value must be between 1 and 10 characters.
Device Type
The type of device connected to the controller. The only supported
device type is
FCU
.
TotalFlow
Protocol
The ABB Totalflow protocol that will be used to communicate with
this controller. The only valid protocol is
DB2
.
Data Block size
The acceptable size of a data packet. The value must be between
64
and
4096
bytes, with the default value being
1024
bytes.
Baud Rate
The data transfer rate for the device. The value must be
300, 1200,
2400, 9600, 19200, 38400,
or
57600
, with the default value being
baud rate being
9600
. The Baud Rate must be defined, even for
TCP connections, as it is used to calculate timeouts within the
protocol handling.
Packet Size
The total size of the data exchange. This value must be greater or
equivalent to the
Data Block size
. The valid range is 1KB to 32KB,
and the default packet size is
8KB
.
Link Time
The number of seconds for the power-save mode of the device.
Also referred to as the device listen interval or cycle, it indicates
how often the device checks for data at its serial communications
ports. If no data is present, the device returns to power-save mode.
Devices do not use this value if listening on their Ethernet port, but
the host uses this value to determine the number of addressing
frames to send since the host cannot assume that the device is
listening on an Ethernet port.
