About myself Let me introduce myself. My name is Kamolov Azamatjon. I am 32бь years old. I am Uzbek. I finished school in 2007. I entered University in 2008. I graduated University in 2012. I am mathematics. I work at Kokand state pedagogical Institute. I like my profession, that’s why I work with pleasure. I am married. I have a lot of friends. After work we usually gather together, discuss our plans or problems and have some fun. My family I am Kamolov Azamatjon. Azamatjon is my name and Kamolov is my surname. I am 30. I want to tell you a few words about my family. My family is not large. I have got grandfather, parents and wife. There are five of us in the family. My father’s name is Farxodjon. He is sixty . He is a teacher. My mother’s Malikahon. She is sixty too. She is pensioner. My wife’s name is Nigora. She is a teacher. My grandfather's name Po’latjon. He is ninty. I have two sisters and a brother. I love my family very much. My working day My name is Kamolov Azamatjon. My every day activities are quite routine. My working day begins at 7 o'clock in the morning when I get up. I do my physical jerks, wash, brush my teeth and comb my hair. Then I have breakfast. For breakfast I usually have toasted bread, fried eggs, tea and some jam. At ten to eight. I leave for Institute. I go to Institute six days a week. It takes me ten minutes to get to Institute. I am the head of the department of mathematics teaching methods. At Institute I usually have four lessons in a week. I teach informatic. I work with students every Friday. My work is over at six o'clock. I return home at half past six every day. When I am at home we have dinner at six thirty. After dinner we go to the sitting-room. There we read books, watch TV, chat with the friends on the phone. At ten o'clock I take a shower, brush my teeth and go to bed. I love my job and profession very much. My favourite food My favourite food is plov. Plov is one of the most popular uzbek traditional meal. It is very popular all over the world. Traditional uzbek plov is cooked by using these ingredients: rice, meat, onion, carrot, some species, oil and water. Usually it is eaten with some salad and tea. It is also a holiday meal. It is always cooked in holidays or in other special days, like wedding. Usually plov is cooked by men. However in Uzbekistan there are a lot of kinds of plov. The are cooked in different regions. For example: Samarkand’s plov, Bukhara’s plov, Andijan’s plov and etc. They differs in some ingredients or in the way of cooking, but all of them are really delicious. I like plov not only because it is delicious, but it is also very healthy. For me the best plov is that plov, that is cooked at home.
Holidays in Uzbekistan have own history and its particular significance for Uzbek people. Such holidays as Navruz, Eid-Al-Fitr and Eid-Al-Adha came from the ancient times, from Zoroastrianism and Islam traditions. Uzbekistan people also widely celebrate international holidays: New Year, the most favorite and magic holiday around the world, and the International Women’s Day, devoted to wives, mothers, daughters and all beautiful women of the Earth The 9th of May in Uzbekistan is the Day of Memory for those who took an active part in the struggle against Nazi invaders in the World War II in the front and in the home front. The 1st of October, the Teacher’s Day is the celebration of respect of labor and wise patience of those, who put much efforts and precious knowledge to us. In fact, respect for a teacher has much deeper roots in Uzbekistan, originating in ancient traditions of Uzbek people and related with oriental mentality of honoring elders and sages. Independence gave to Uzbekistan new holidays, symbols of a new page in the history of the country: Independence Day, Constitution Day, Day of Defenders of the Motherland and others. The Independence Day is widely celebrated. On September 1 many great cultural events such as shows, concerts, festivals and other entertaining events to mark the birthday of independent Uzbekistan take place throughout the country. Our rector is Eminov Azizjon. There are 8 faculties in our Institute. They are - The Faculty of Foreign Languages, The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, The Faculty of Uzbek language and literature, The Faculty of History, The Faculty of Primary and Pre-school education, The Faculty of Pedagogy, The Faculty of Natural Science, The Faculty of Physical Education.
