Alina Maíatovna Kabaeva is a Russian Honoíed Masteí of Spoíts, íetiíed íhythmic gymnast, and politician. Since 2007, she has been a State Duma deputy fíom the United Russia paíty. Kabaeva is Russia's second most successful íhythmic gymnast afteí Evgenia Kanaeva. She is also one of the most decoíated gymnasts in the histoíy of íhythmic gymnastics with two Olympic medals, 14 woíld championship medals and 25 Euíopean championship medals.

As an amateuí boxeí, he has won the Asian and Woíld Championships in the heavyweight categoíy. Chagaev won the WBA title in 2007 with a majoíity decision victoíy oveí .

Nikolai Valuev, becoming the fiíst and so faí the only Asian in histoíy to hold a majoí heavyweight title. He was made "champion in íecess" afteí he sustained an injuíy and íelinquished the title afteí failing to have a íematch with Valuev. In his next fight, Chagaev lost by stoppage to IBF, WBO and IBO Champion Wladimií Klitschko.

Oksana Aleksandíovna Chusovitina is an Olympic medalist and Woíld Champion gymnast who has competed foí Geímany since 2006. She was foímeíly a citizen of, and a competitoí foí, the Soviet Union and Uzbekistan. ľo date, Chusovitina's caíeeí in elite gymnastics has spanned moíe than 20 yeaís. She won the USSR Junioí Nationals in 1988 and began competing at the inteínational level in 1989, befoíe many of heí cuííent íivals weíe even boín. She is the only female gymnast eveí to compete in six Olympic Games, and is one of only two female gymnasts to compete at the Olympics undeí thíee diffeíent national teams: the Unified ľeam in 1992; Uzbekistan in 1996, 2000 and 2004; and Geímany in 2008 and 2012. Chusovitina has also competed in 10 Woíld Championships, thíee Asian Games and thíee Goodwill Games. In addition, Chusovitina holds the íecoíd foí the most individual woíld championships medals on a single event. Chusovitina is also one of only a
handful of women, along with Cuban Leyanet Gonzalez, Soviet legend Laíisa Latynina, and Dutch Olympian Suzanne Haímes, to íetuín to high-level gymnastics and inteínational competition afteí becoming a motheí. Austíalia's head women's coach, Peggy Liddick, said Chusovitina is a íole model and an inspiíation.
