Scientific reseraches on the Jadid movement and the literature formed under this 
movement have been carreid out at leading scientific centers and world institutions 
such as Tokio University (Japan), Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der 
Wissenschaften AV, Göttingen Universität, Berlin Universität, Humboldt 
Universität, Goethe Universität (Germany), Oxford University (Great Britain), 
Harvard University, Indiana University (USA), İstanbul Üniversitesi, Hacettepe 
Üniversitesi, Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, Gaziantep Üniversitesi (Turkey), 
Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyasi Dilçilik Institutu (Azerbaijan), as well as at 
Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature Named After 
Alisher Navoi, and The Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore Institute of the 
Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  
In the world linguistics, as a result of researches conducted on a specific 
period and study of lexis of certain works, a number of scientific findings have 
been made as follows: it has been substantiated that the representatives of Jadid 
movement propagated the effectiveness of new teaching methods in their works 
(Berlin University, Germany); it has been found that Jadids formulated modern 
realistic literature, during which the main purpose of the new literary types and 
genres were aimed at awakening the nation (Tokyo University, Japan); it has been 
revealed that the idea of forming a common Turkish language was promoted in 
Jadid literary works, and the members of «Chigatoy Gurungi» brought the literary 
language closer to the real language of speech (İstanbul Üniversitesi, Hacettepe 
Üniversitesi, Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, Gaziantep Üniversitesi (Turkey); the

ability of a certain writer to use words and means of artistic imagery has been 
substantiated (The Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore Institute, Tashkent 
State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature, Uzbekistan). 
In the world linguistics, a number of researches are being carried out on the 
linguistic features of literary works, including the following priority areas: 
studying the linguistic features of literary works in connection with the formation 
and development of the language; disclosing the lexis in line with an outlook of a 
particular writer and social environment; substantiation of the ability of a particular 
writer to use words and the level of use of artistic imagery means; defining the role 
of the writer in the development of literary language; conducting the functional, 
contextual, etymological and statistical analysis, and historical and etymological 
investigation of lexemes, grouping them into thematic groups and defining the 
vocabulary of the works on their basis; explaining the development of meaning in 
words; substantiation of the linguopoetic features of linguacultural units.
