Itawamba Community College - History

  • The ICC Tupelo Campus, which was organized in July 1963, operated in vacant buildings and shops procured from businesses of the city of Tupelo. In July 1966, the school relocated into a complex, which has grown to include 11 buildings. In the fall of 1987, the name of the institution was changed to Itawamba Community College to more adequately reflect its mission and purpose.

  • The main campus is located in Fulton, Mississippi|Fulton, and a branch campus in Tupelo, Mississippi|Tupelo mainly handles technical education programs. The non-credit programs of the Economic and Community Services Division are based in Belden.

  • 'Štefan Čambal' (17 December 1908 in Bratislava|Pozsony – 18 July 1990) was a Slovaks|Slovak football player and later a football manager. He played for Czechoslovakia national football team|Czechoslovakia, for which he played 22 matches. He was born in Bratislava|Pozsony and died in Prague.
