1.Introduction (10 minutes)

Revision. Greeting with Ss. T writes quotes of the famous people on the blackboard. Then Ss tell it.

Ss explain orally to the teacher not written form.


2.Main part

(65 minutes)


Activity 1 Check homework. (10 min)

T asks the task which had been given as homework and to answer them.


Activity 2: Match the words and their definitions. (10 min)

T divides Ss into 2 groups and gives handouts. There are several mixed words, T asks to match the words with their definitions.



Activity 3 Listen to the tape and fill in the gaps

T gives them handouts. (10 min)

T gives the handouts. She/He gives the text. There are several missing words in the text. T explains the task.


Activity 4. Write definitions to the words given below.

(10 min)

After doing activity 3 T and Ss read the text and they will translate the text


Activity 5 Complete the text using suitable words.

(10 min)



Ss read their reports.

Ss work in groups; they find the words and their definitions

Ss listen to the tape and fill in the gaps.

Ss work in groups

Ss work individually.

Ss complete the text using the words from the box.




3.Closure
