Purpose of the study. Determine the influence of environmental factors on agricultural land in the Chimbay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Research objectives.
1. Determination of natural and climatic conditions and physical and geographical features of the Chimbay region.
2. Assessment of the chemical elemental composition of saline soils in the Chimboy region;
3. Analysis of the influence of environmental factors on irrigated soils and determination of the relationship between them;
4. Development of recommendations to prevent pollution of irrigated lands;
Object of study. Agricultural soils of the Chimbay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan were selected.
Subject of study. Analysis of the ecological state, optimization of the use of land resources in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, soil characteristics, ecological state, salinization.
Research methods. The work used environmental (monitoring and analysis), statistical methods (Excel and STATISTICA), factor analysis methods and GIS technologies.

Indicators of pollution of agricultural land in the Chimbay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have been determined.
The influence of environmental factors on irrigated soils has been determined.
Recommendations have been developed for improving agricultural lands in the Chimbay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Structure and scope of the master's thesis. The composition of the dissertation consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and applications. The volume of the dissertation is 77 pages.
