Suggested answers: 1 The fans, who had been waiting a long time, greeted the heroes after their rocket returned to Earth. 2 NASA officials, who are renowned scientists, are trying to obtain more information about Mars. 3 Many people, who are following the moon landing, hope for the safe return of their country’s astronauts from outer space. 4 The man, who lives across the street from me, likes to look at the planets through his telescope. 5 The high-powered telescope, which is located at the Science Centre, has modern features that allow you to see Saturn. 6 The model rocket, which her mother gave her for her birthday, was very realistic. 7 The police arrested the man, who was kicking and screaming, for getting too close to the launch site. 8 The astronaut, who was supposed to get on the space shuttle, continued signing autographs for his fans. 9 The photographer, who was hired to take pictures of the event, nearly dropped one of his cameras while trying to take pictures of the flames from the take-off. 10 My mother’s house, which is near the launch site, has cracked tiles from the vibrations of the rocket taking off.
