VOCABULARY – HAPPINESS / SUCCESS / GOALS


Ambition - a desire to do well, to achieve a goal, and to succeed
AspirationAspire - a hope or ambition of achieving something
Ch(k)aracteristics – a feature or quality belonging typically to a person, place, or thing and serving to identify them
Traits – a distinguishing quality or characteristic, typically one belonging to a person
Determination  Determine – the quality of being determined; firmness of purpose
Concentration – the action or power of focusing all one’s attention
Discipline – the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience
Set goalscreate targets, make goals
Aim for – strive for, try to, want to do something
Spiritual goals - spiritual goals are any intentions that you have related to discovering your purpose and living a meaningful life.
Longed to - wanted to do something very much
Have a command of - have an ability to do or use something, especially a language
Hyper-focused - hyperfocus, broadly and anecdotally speaking, is a phenomenon that reflects one's complete absorption in a task, to a point where a person appears to completely ignore or 'tune out' everything else
Priority - the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important than others
Purpose - the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists
Motive - a reason for doing something
On the surface – (Below the surface) when you consider the obvious things, and not the deeper, hidden things
Financial target - a financial goal is a target to aim for when managing your money. It can involve saving, spending, earning, or even investing
Commitment - the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
Dedication - the quality of being dedicated or committed to a task or purpose
Accomplish - achieve or complete successfully
The right path - the right way
Overwhelming - if something is overwhelming, it affects you very strongly, and you do not know how to deal with it
Consistency - the quality of always behaving or performing in a similar way, or of always happening in a similar way
Self-imposed - anything that's self-imposed has been decided by you, not enforced by someone else
Sacrifice - the act of giving up something that you want to keep especially in order to get or do something else
Benchmark - a standard for measuring or judging other things of the same type:
Measurable - able to be described in specific terms (as of size, amount, duration, or mass)
Attainable - able to be attained; achievable
Urge - a strong desire or impulse
Anticlimactic - causing disappointment at the end of an exciting or impressive series of events
Fritter - waste time, money, or energy on trifling matters
Burnout - burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress
Recuperation - the process or fact of regaining health or strength
Shortcut - a shortcut is a method of achieving something more quickly or more easily than if you use the usual methods
