WRITING

Explain that students are going to write an article for
the blog about a difficult change that they have made or
something difficult they have tried to do. They can use
one of the topics or their own idea. Give them a short
time to think of an idea. If this is difficult, they can
discuss it with a partner to give each other ideas.

Students use the questions to help them plan their
article. Remind them that it is always important to make
notes about what they want to say before writing as it
helps to organise their ideas logically and group them
into paragraphs. Monitor and help with vocabulary as
necessary.
