they have made, with details.

  In pairs, students read each other’s articles. Take feedback 

and ask some students to read their articles to the class. 

Award one point for each time linker they used. Find out 

which students have the most points.

EXTRA ACTIVITY

Put students into small groups and give them a minute to 

write down as many adjectives as they can. Then ask them 

to play the comparative/superlative game: the groups take 

turns to say an adjective. The first person from another group 

to give the comparative and superlative for that adjective 

gains a point for their group. If they can make a sentence 

using them both correctly, they gain an extra point. The 

group with the most points at the end wins.
