[F1-Au] This salad isn’t very good. How’s yours, Helen?
[F2-Am] Terrible. There’s hardly any tuna and the tomatoes are hard.
[M-Am] And this steak is overcooked. I’m a bit disappointed, to tell you
the truth.
[F2-Am] So am I.
[M-Am] I can cook better than this. They said it would be
much better when it reopened.
[F1-Au] For a month we’ve had to have sandwiches at our desks, and
now we come down here to find the food is worse than before.
[F2-Am] Yeah. And it’s more expensive.
[M-Am] I think I’ll say something to the management.

[F-Am] Excuse me. I see you have a specialty tea on the

[M-Am] No, it’s Chinese. Black Pagoda.
[F-Am] Hmm. I’ll have a cup of coffee, thanks.
[M-Am] Large or small? Milk? Cream? Sugar?
[F-Am] Um, large, I think. Cream, no sugar.
[M-Am] Coming right up. Anything to eat? We have soup…
a nice house salad?
[F-Am] My train leaves in five minutes. I’d better not.

[F-Au] You won’t forget to make that hotel booking, will you, Jim?
[M-Au] I called them already. It’s all done.
[F-Au] You’re a star. Okay, I really have to go now. The taxi’s waiting.
[M-Au] Here’s your coat.
[F-Au] Thanks. Oh, look at the time! It’s three o’clock already. I only
have a couple of hours before my flight.
[M-Au] Don’t worry. You’ll be fine. It’s only thirty minutes at this time of
day. When are you going to be back in the office?
[F-Au] Early next week. Tuesday I expect. I have to run. Bye!
