LESSON 20

AFFIXATION

Affix so’zi “fix” so’zidan yasalgan bo’lib, So’z asosi yoki o’zagiga qo’shilib so’zning ma’nosini va/yoki turkumini o’zgartiradi yoki yangi so’z yasaydi. O’zbek tilida so’z yasovchi qo’shimchalar mavzusiga to’g’ri keladi.

Affixlar so’z asosiga qo’shilish o’rniga ko’ra 2 turga bo’linadi:

  1. Prefix – Old qo’shimcha (-dis, anti, in, im, un, pre, inter…) Agar So’z yasovchi qo’shimcha asosdan oldin qo’shilsa bu prefix hisoblanadi, ya’ni Asos – Active va Prefix – In = Inactive

  2. Suffix – Ort qo’shimcha (able, ible, ous, ion, ment, ish, ful)

Agar so’z yasovchi qo’shimcha Asosdan so’ng qo’llansa unda suffix hisoblanadi. Asos – Work, Suffix – er = Worker

Bazida asos bir vaqtning o’zida ham prefix ham suffix olishi mumkin: Un – imagine – able = Unimaginable
