The structural organization of a phraseological unit largely determines the compatibility of phraseological units with words of free use. from the core, up to the exit from the phraseological fund. , it should be said that when teaching a foreign language, it is extremely important to take into account the specifics of the translation of phraseological units associated with colours because incorrectly understood meanings of these words can significantly change the perception of students. It’s important to remember that a learner of a foreign language automatically attributes to the words of a foreign language the connotations of the native language that are often very different from the original version.
