Tip 10
Be ready for every situation
• Sometimes, your examiner
may not be in the mood
• Sometimes, your examiner's accent can be different
• Sometimes, your examiner may have blue eyes, long
hair and strange beard
• Sometimes, an examiner may not keep an eye-contact
• Sometimes, an examiner may seem to be ignoring you.
• Sometimes, there may be some technical problems
Tip 11
Don't get discouraged
when you make more mistakes
than you expect.

Tip 12
For speaking part 1

• Don't show off
• Don't give memorised answers
• Don't use many advanced words in one answer
Tip 13
For speaking part 2

• When the speaking part 2 finishes, the examiner gives
you a follow-up question. This is absolutely okay.
• Tell a story or remember the note-taking skills I taught

Tip 14
For speaking part 3
• If you receive some challenging questions in speaking
part 3, don't be scared, instead be happy because high-
level students are asked challenging questions
• Try to give in-depth answers in part 3 (at least 2 times)
Tip 15
Be confident

• But, remember that confidence usually comes from
good preparation/enough practice.
• Nothing is more important than
a sufficient amount of
practice
in speaking.

Tip 16
• When the examiner may say "That's the end of the
speaking test" suddenly,
don`t be scared
• Don't forget to say "Thank you, I really enjoyed talking
to you" or "Thank you, it's been a pleasure talking to
you"
