Network Topology:
Router-to-Router Connectivity:
1. For connecting LAN to LAN Serial Port should be used.
2. By default, Router should not have a serial port. To have it, first switch off the Router and drag
the WIC-2T interface into the Serial port Space and then switch on it.

3. One side of the Serial port is DCE (Data Circuit Terminal Equipment) which requires Clock rate
setup.
4. Another side of serial port is DTE (Data Terminating Equipment) which doesn’t requires clock
rate.
