Module 2 Introduction to the field. Introduction. Future agrarians need to be
able to understand their field and transmit key information to peers and to outside 
groups. This module focuses on the skills needed to do that. Part of that learning 
includes helping learners to organize their learning in a critically aware way. 
Module aim. The aims of the module are to develop organizational skills and
build up background information, academic and research skills such as critical 
thinking, collecting data, problem solving, presenting ideas, and searching for 
information, problem solution, cause and effect, organizing skills.
Module objectives specific goals (according to the can-do statement) consist
of: 
at the end of the module, students will have the following knowledge: 
read reviews of professional books; 
reading professional / technical reports; 
making presentations on elementary topics related to the field; 
write effectively using references, quotations and phrases
reading reference books (online and print);
