Module-1. Socialization and networking. Introduction. Socialization is an 
activity that involves meeting for social purposes, and networking is a skill that 
should be acquired by those who want to establish new connections and 
relationships. If you attend conferences, seminars, and other types of business 
events, it's natural to meet many people who exude confidence and skill. Students 
who need English in their daily lives often ask for help from English teachers over 
the phone. This is because telephone communication is one of the most important 
forms of communication in the workplace. It's also one of the most difficult areas 
of communication because you can't see the other speaker, so listening skills are 
especially important. 
This module focuses on the development of lexical and communicative 
skills of agricultural students in professional and non-professional situations, 
improving communication skills through conversations, discussions, telephone 
conversations, using body language and reading various texts, creating simple 
programs, producing, work-related topics to introduce 
Aim of the module is to develop interpersonal/communicative skills, social 
cultural awareness, and professional etiquette to enable them to communicate 
effectively in academic and professional settings. 
Module objectives. At the end of the module, students will have the 
following knowledge: 
describe the university life and connect with peers from other 
universities abroad through social networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook); 
engage in dating, cross-cultural and unprepared conversations on 
topics of personal interest or everyday life;
