The subject of the research work is language of poetry of Herman Melville was born in 1819 in New York City. He wrote many famous novels, including Moby Dick and Billy Budd. He is considered one of the most important American authors of the 19th century, and his writing style has been widely influential on subsequent authors. Melville’s childhood was difficult. His father, Allan Melvill, had become bankrupt after speculating on the grain market. The family moved frequently to avoid creditors and were often poor or near-poverty.
As a result of this experience, Herman Melville grew up with an acute awareness of money matters and became obsessed with financial success. This is reflected in his writing, which often contains detailed descriptions of money and its power.
