Chinoz tumani - Toshkent viloyatidagi tuman. 1935-yil 9-fevralda tashkil etilgan. 1962-yil 24-dekabrda Yangiyoʻl tumaniga qoʻshilgan. 1973-yil 12-aprel da qayta tuzilgan. U Yangiyoʻl, Quyi Chirchiq tumanlari, Sirdaryo viloyati, Qozogʻiston Respublikasi bilan chegaradosh. Maydoni 0,34 ming km². Aholisi 116 ming kishi (2004). Tumanda 1 shahar (Chinoz), 2 shaharcha (Olmazor, Yangi Chinoz), 8 qishloq fuqarolari yigʻini (Islohot, Ittifoq, Koʻtarma, Turkiston, Chinoz, Eski Toshkent, Yallama, Uzbekistan) bor. Markazi — Chinoz shahri. Tabiati Relyefi, asosan, tekislikdan iborat. Qir va adirlar, Qozogʻiston chegarasiga yaqin joyda esa choʻl boshlanadi. Foydali qazilmalardan Sirdaryo bilan Chirchiq daryosining qoʻshilish joyida qurilishda ishlatiladigan qum va shagʻal olinadi. Iqlimi kontinental. Yillik oʻrtacha harorat +13,4°C, yanvarning oʻrtacha harorati -3,1°C, iyulning oʻrtacha temperaturasi +26,5°C. Vegetatsiya davri 210 kun. Yiliga 350 mm yogʻin tushadi. Tuman hududidan Chirchiq, Sirdaryo daryolari oʻtadi. The average annual temperature is +13.4°C, the average temperature in January is -3.1°C, and the average temperature in July is +26.5°C. The vegetation period is 210 days. Annual rainfall is 350 mm. Chirchik and Syrdarya rivers pass through the territory of the district. Also, the Bozsuv, Kurkuldak, North Tashkent, Jo’hn canals passing through the district are used for irrigation of agricultural crops. There are some lakes as Achchikkol, Chumchukkol and Aydinkol. The soil is mainly gray. Wild plants include semizo’t, shura, ituzum, bangidevona, achambiti, qo’ytikan, yantoq, chuchmoma and others. Wild animals include foxes, wolves, jackals and wild boars. Population The population is mainly Uzbeks, Kazakhs, as well as Tajiks, Russians and representatives of other nationalities. The average population density is 341.2 people per 1 km². The rural population is 81 thousand people, the urban population is 35 thousand people (2004). Economy The economy of the district is mainly specialized in agricultural production. There are 8 industrial enterprises in Chinaz district, which are engaged in the production of building materials, cotton cleaning, seed preparation, raw materials (sand mining). There is a car repair plant, plant of building materials and constructions, a car tractor park and a sand and gravel quarry. 2 joint ventures (including the Uzbekistan-Turkey-Japan "Chinaz-Toqimachi-LTD" enterprise, which specializes in the production of cotton yarn) are operating. There are trade, cultural and household service outlets, a farmer's market. The main branches of agriculture are cotton growing and grain growing. At the same time, livestock breeding, cocoon breeding, vegetable growing, policing, and horticulture are also developed. There are 13 companies and 541 peasant farms in the district. 26,800 cattle (including 11,600 cows), 17,600 sheep and goats are raised in private and collective farms in Chinaz district, and poultry farming is also practiced. The district has 48 general education schools, 2 secondary vocational schools, a school of musician and art, a central library and its 29 branches, a children's music school, a culture house, 2 hotels, one big and 8 small stadiums, a culture and recreation park. 163 doctors work in 2 hospitals, polyclinics, rural medical centers, pharmacies and others.
