INTRODUCTION (the abstract of PhD thesis) 
The aim of the research consists of methods of developing students' 
independent work skills in chemistry lessons. 
The object of the research The process of organizing independent education 
of students in the development of independent work skills in chemistry lessons of 
general education schools was determined, and a total of 412 students from general 
education schools in Khorezm region, Navoi region and Chirchik city of Tashkent 
region were involved in the experimental work. 
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
in the process of teaching chemistry, the pedagogical conditions for the 
development of students' independent work skills have been clarified based on the 
introduction of experimental stages such as comparison, testing and drawing 
conclusions in the learning process that teaches to observe, understand, and explain 
chemical phenomena in the feedback environment of working on errors according to 
the principles of safety, assignment grading; 
innovative approaches to the development of students' independent work skills 
in chemistry classes, such as individual orientation, a variable chain of chemical 
tasks, are determined based on the demonstration, practical and integrative use of 
natural and laboratory methods that teach information search, collection, study, 
analysis, generalization and application in chemistry classes and extracurricular 
situations; 
the model of development of students' independent work skills is improved 
based on the use of non-standard laboratory work, which provides for the harmonious 
formation of science-related and basic competencies, in an informative, individual 
and team-based interactive learning environment based on the "crocodile chemistry" 
program, with prognostic monitoring; 
criteria for evaluating the development of independent work skills among 
students were improved on the basis of modular distributed tests in classes, individual 
use of laboratory tasks in the environment of "reverse education" (home learning 
environment, organization of the lesson based on homework assignments) according 
to the academic record of the results.
