Density of Vines 9 000 vines/ha Average yield 40-50 hl/ha Description This Chénas, grown on steep and granite-rich soils, is reminiscent of a Moulin-à-Vent with its deep colour and aromatic bouquet of violets and roses. This is one of the smallest appellations in the Beaujolais. Total vineyard area: 249ha Winemaking Traditional vinification with controlled temperature. Tasting note With a beautiful dark and strong colour, our Chénas reveals aromas of dark fruits sustained by delicate spicy notes. A nice density in this opulent wine, ripe black fruits dominate with silky tannins. Suggested food pairings Wild game, meat dishes with sauce, roasts, charcuterie and cheeses. Serving temperature Between 12 & 15°C
