Activity 1 Work in pairs. Play What Do you Do?
Objective: to revise jobs;
Ask PP to write an imaginary job and keep it secret. PP take turns to ask questions and guess their partner's job. P1 asks the question What do you do? but P2 should say where s/he works instead of answering his/her partner's questions directly. So P1 should guess what his/her partner's job is. If P1 can't find out her/his partner's job for the first time, s/he can go on trying to find the job. Watch how your PP do the activity
and give help if necessary.
e.g. P1: What do you do? P2: I work in an office.
P1: Are you a secretary? P2: No, I'm not.
P1: Are you a businesswoman? P2: Yes, I am.
Suggestion: If your class is strong you can ask PP to ask several PP and write their names and jobs.
