Object of study-served as a comparative typological analysis of the phonological system of contacting languages ​​(English, Uzbek and Uzbek) in order to identify potential types of interlingual sound interference, to study the characteristics of the perception and reproduction of the sounds of the English language by Uzbeks during their initial teaching of a foreign language in trilingual conditions, experimental verification of effectiveness developed methodology for teaching the sound system of the English language in the Uzbek school. At the same time, we took into account that the problems of the formation of listening skills of the English language in conditions of bilingualism were studied by linguists and methodologists of Uzbek (I.L. Bim, Z.U. Blyagoz, E.V. Borzova, G.G. Burzhunov, G.I. Vereshchagin, Yu.Yu. Deshireeva, M. V. Panov, A. I. Rabinovich, A. A. Reformatsky, A. I. Kolmogorov
and etc.). However, the method of teaching English to Uzbeks students remains completely unexplored.

The subject of the study is focused on describing the technology of forming foreign language pronunciation skills at an early stage of teaching English in the conditions of Uzbek-Uzbek bilingualism, the features of overcoming interlingual sound interference.
Purpose of the study. Based on the data of a comparative typological analysis of the phonological and phonetic systems of the English, Uzbek, Uzbek languages, the analysis of the initial English speech of students in grades 5-6 of the Uzbek school, the results of ascertaining and teaching experiments, the study of sociolinguistic factors in the functioning of the Uzbek and Uzbek languages, to identify patterns of perception and reproduction sounds of the English language in the flow of speech, typical and persistent pronunciation errors, their causes; develop a methodological system for the formation of pronunciation skills in the conditions of Uzbek-Uzbek bilingualism and test its effectiveness by conducting a control experiment.
