INTRОDUCTIОN
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy ". The document has approved Uzbekistan’s Five-Area Development Strategy for 2017-2021 which was developed following comprehensive study of topical issues, analysis of the current legislation, law enforcement practices, the best international practices, and following public discussion.
The first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution On measures on further improving system of studying foreign language‖ on 10 December 2012.
The document was adopted to improve teaching foreign languages, training
specialists with good language skills, introducing advanced technologies into
education system, etc.
According to resolution, foreign languages, predominantly English language,
will be taught in all schools of Uzbekistan from first classes as game plays. From
the second class, the alphabet, reading and grammar will be taught.
From 2013/2014 academic year, special topics, especially technical and
international specialties, at higher educational establishments will be conducted in
foreign languages.
The document said that Republican Targeted Book Fund under Ministry of
Finance of Uzbekistan will provide students and teachers of general, secondary
special and professional educational institutions with manuals and methodical
complex for free of charge.
Using classic stories is a useful and motivating way to get your class to learn English.Thanks to the fact that is the classic tale and a well-known story for them, they will easily understand the storyline, establishing that complicity needed between actors and children to make them feel involved.
The version we represent has been devised to be entertaining, but also a learning tool for developing the objectives established for the English Foreign Language area and the stage. The language used is simple and include those structures, contexts and vocabulary normally used in the First Cycle of Primary Education.
It is quite important that you prepare your children carefully for understanding the play. We suggest that you work with them on the proposed activities, as they will help your children achieve some of the specific objecti-ves established for the English area. You can easily fit them in your planning, or if you prefer, you can use the whole proposal as an independent didactic unit. The performance of the play, which will constitute the closure, and the songs will be a fun excuse for your students to learn.
