The aim of this course paper is to study the features of the methodological organization of teaching foreign written language at the senior stage of training.
The goal assumes the solution of the following tasks:
1. Consider the psychological characteristics of high school students;
2. Define writing as a type of speech activity;
3. To study the types of exercises aimed at the formation of writing skills;
4. Analyze the educational and methodological complex in English;
5. Make a set of exercises that contribute to the development of English-language writing at the senior stage of training.
Research methods: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the problems of teaching writing to secondary school students.
The scientific novelty of this course paper is explained by the fact that in this course work a set of exercises has been developed for teaching English-language writing at the senior stage of training.
The theoretical value of the course paper is explained by the fact that the course work summarizes scientific and methodological material on the problem of teaching methods of English-language written speech at the senior stage of training.
The practical value of the course paper lies in the fact that the course work contains a set of exercises aimed at teaching English-language writing at the senior stage of training.
This course work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion and a list of references.
The first chapter opens with the definition of methods of teaching writing in high schools, and provides the information about psychological characteristics of high school students.
The second chapter focuses on the types of exercises for teaching writing skills. The survey supported many different advantages and usefulness. Moreover it includes the role of teacher in the classroom, and possible multimedia applications in the foreign language learning by writing.
