Students are able:
-identify common examples of the solid and liquid states of matter;
-compare the properties of the solid and liquid states;
-compare different water containers.

After the lesson starts, the teacher goes around the class touching the weather cards. Touch each card and do the song's cue while saying the word (eg sunny!). The teacher plays a game on the smartboard. Children are divided into two groups. Students go out and read the text and try to understand it. The teacher presses the correct answer button. At the end, the winning team will be determined by counting the points. homework will be explained. Newly learned words are written in the dictionary and repeated.

Children listen to the teacher about weather. They find out that types of the weather. They say examples of weather and the types of it which they already know. They play a game. Children divides into two groups. Try to understand new words and repeat them together. They copy new words on their notebook.

Teacher assesses them by asking questions about the vocabulary of topic.
