Among the skullcaps of all regions of Uzbekistan, the most popular are those made in the city of Chust, Andijan region in the Fergana Valley. They are called – "chust-duppy", high skullcaps. Please accept this small traditional Uzbekistan’s gift. “Chapan” is a traditional quilted handmade robe, the main element of the national men's costume in Uzbekistan. Translated from Arabic, "chapan" means "honorary dress", which is why they tried to decorate it as best and richer as possible.
Chapan is a valuable gift, it has been given to Dear Guests since ancient times as a sign of respect. The colors of red shades were preferred more as a symbol of prosperity. The embroidery pattern was not chosen by chance. It has always had either magical or practical significance. According to the drawing, it was possible to understand the social status, and sometimes other meanings were put into it. For example, a repeating geometric pattern on a braid is a kind of amulet.
The highest form of urban craft was gold embroidery, which decorated mainly the magnificent clothes of the Emir and the court nobility, individual toilet accessories and some household items of the wealthy strata of the population. *Useful properties of goat down. Like wool, fluff has low thermal conductivity. It is also hypoallergenic and suitable for all people, even children. Fluff is able to absorb up to 35% of the liquid from its total mass. This is more than sheep wool and cotton can absorb. And synthetics are not able to absorb liquids at all. The fluff is saturated with goat fat; it is almost not polluted. Down fibers contain various amino acids, including those containing sulfur. The composition of the fluff includes lanolin. This substance promotes the overgrowth of wounds, fractures, and also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. In contact with the skin, goat down stimulates blood circulation and has a massage effect.

Recommendations for care: Only hand wash with shampoo or baby soap in warm water no higher than 35 degrees Celsius. After washing, spread the handkerchief on a flat surface and let it dry, you can iron it with a non-hot iron through gauze or cloth. Ideally, stretch the handkerchief on a flat surface, pinning each tooth on safety pins, or stretch it on a special frame.
