Introduction
In today’s competitive society translation plays central role in our life as it is key to international communication. And also, being aware of the latest changes in international finance, banking system, science and etc trigger overall development of a country. On the basis of these reasons, the first president of Uzbekistan declared an order (P.Q. 47-97) in 2016. This order intends to support both linguistics and translation. Accordingly, Tashkent state University of Uzbek language and literature was founded. This university covers three faculties: Uzbek language Philology, Teaching Uzbek language and literature and Uzbek –English translation faculties.
Obviously, founding of the Uzbek – English translation faculty reveals the importance of translation and support for making professional translators for further development of our country in all fields in international arenas.
Translation into and from English is admittedly part of the broader picture of globalization, the ongoing process in which a language tends to gain recognition as a universal idiom of communication. Lately, academic writing has proved to be as significant and challenging, at least as far as translation is concerned, as literary discourse and writing. The authors of the present paper start from a set of theoretical assumptions in order to check the above suggestion, turning then to empirical evidence in order to demonstrate the fact that most of the conventions and regularities commonly associated with academic writing can turn into serious
challenges for the translator. This course paper will discuss stylistic problems in translation of official documents by analyzing it. This study also deals with the problems related to the translation of legal document translation in the theoretical framework elaborated by the researchers working in the field of translation studies and reflects on the terminological peculiarities of the special language used for this text type. Consideration of the theoretical framework is followed by the analysis of a specific document that is written in Uzbek and translated to English. The
conclusions are intended to highlight the fact that there are no recipes for
translating official documents, because translation is not only a technical process that uses translation procedures and applies transfer operations, but also a matter of understanding cultural, historical and political situations and their significance.
