Group Task 1: Design 2 listening lessons



Design two listening lessons
Group members: XTA-1. 1. Madraximova Zarinabonu 2.Ma'murova Maktubaxon
Instructions: Select a one-way listening task and a two-way listening task presented in Ch6 in Celce-Murcia et al. (2014). For each task, plan a 40-minute listening lesson for a group of students you have in mind. In your group, Work

  1. decide what listening skills are being targeted and what outcome(s) is/are appropriate for the task; and

  2. explain what type of listening text or interaction scenarios you would use for the lesson.

  3. Suggest how much time you would allocate to the respective phases and activities (in the table)

Your lesson should include a pre-listening and a post-listening activity. One of the activities must include a clear metacognitive dimension. Write a detailed outline of the lesson in the table provided below.
